Delete Your Gym Amigo Account

1. Delete Your Account in the App

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Gym Amigo app, on iPhone or Android:

• Open Gym Amigo and sign in.
• Go to the Profile tab and open Settings.
• Tap Delete Account & Data.
• Tap Delete Account to confirm.

Your account is deleted right away, and the app erases its local data on that device. If you use Gym Amigo on another device, remove the app from that device to erase the data stored there.

2. Request Deletion by Email

If you can’t sign in or no longer have the app, email support@gymamigo.app with the subject “Delete my Gym Amigo account.” Send it from the email address on your account, or include your username. We may ask you to confirm you own the account before deleting it. We complete email requests within 30 days.

3. What We Delete

• Your account and sign-in details.
• Your profile: username, display name, profile photo, date of birth, height, gender, and body weight.
• Workouts, workout plans, and workout history, including heart rate and calorie data.
• Body weight entries, readiness check-ins, and health consent records.
• Coach check-ins and check-in photos.
• Friend connections, friend requests, competitions, and challenges.
• Push notification tokens.
• For coaches: your coach profile, application documents, and program cover images and videos. Your Stripe payout account is disconnected.

4. What We Keep

• Purchase and payout records: kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, refunds, and disputes, and no longer linked to your account.
• Messages and shared workouts: messages you sent to a coach or client, and workouts you shared with friends, stay in the other person’s app but are no longer linked to your account.
• Published programs (coaches): programs other users already bought stay available to them, credited to “Deleted Coach.”
• Deletion record: a record that a deletion request was processed.
• Backups: copies may remain in our encrypted backups for up to 7 days, after which they are permanently overwritten.

Deleting your Gym Amigo account does not delete data stored in Apple Health.

5. Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a Gym Amigo Pro or Coach subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel them first in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
